Premier’s Sustainability Awards finalists announced

Thirty finalists across 10 categories from across Victoria have been announced in this year’s Premier’s Sustainability Awards.

 The quality of this year’s finalists shows that the Victorian Premier’s Sustainability Awards is one of the most accessible and prestigious programs of its kind.

Sustainability Victoria Chief Executive Stan Krpan congratulated all finalists for their innovative and forward-thinking initiatives.

“This year’s awards attracted an extremely diverse group of sustainability projects.

“It is encouraging to see how many organisations and individuals truly care about their environment and the future of our state,” he said.

Finalists will be invited to the Premier’s Sustainability Awards ceremony on Thursday 20 October at the Plaza Ballroom where they can meet other like-minded individuals, share inspiring stories and learn more about other sustainable projects.

The Hon Daniel Andrews MP, Premier of Victoria will personally select two overall winners: the Premier’s Regional Recognition Award and the Premier’s Recognition Award, both to be presented at the awards ceremony.

Finalists in the 2016 Premier’s Sustainability Awards categories are:
