Emi pods

EMI was created as part of a collaborative project with the American Hardwood Export Council to introduce new species of timber to the Australian market and calculate their environmental impact.The results: it takes 0.12 seconds for the wood used in the EMI to regrow in the US hardwood forest. Made of solid Red oak, EMI has a beautiful flutted profile. The timber has been carved all the way around, adding not just a decorative element to their simple shape but a stunning visual and tactile appeal.
Designed in two heights, it can be used as a low stool for casual seating around a coffee table and a higher option suited to a dining table or simply as side tables.
