Welde Hexa Black Combi is a lightweight yet highly durable European plywood, engineered from a bi-ply combination of Birch and Poplar veneers. It features a rugged hexagonal-patterned surface, making it ideal for demanding environments where strength, stability, and resistance matter.

Construction

• Manufactured with alternating 1.5 mm Birch and 2.1 mm Poplar veneers

• Outer layers on both faces are Birch, enhancing surface strength and dimensional stability

Adhesive (Glue)

• Water-resistant phenolic A-Bond adhesive

• Low formaldehyde emissions (E1 class)

• Meets and exceeds EN 314-2 Class 3 bonding requirements — the highest durability standard for plywood

Overlay & Surface Finish

• Top face: 240 GSM black phenolic film with hexagonal anti-slip texture

• Reverse face: 240 GSM black smooth phenolic film

• Surface is slip-, wear-, and scratch-resistant (Taber Test: 800–1000 rotations)

• Easy to clean, thanks to the embossed pattern

Edge Protection

• All edges sealed with a water-resistant black edge sealant for added moisture protection and extended lifespan
