Issue 40 includes a feature on the revolution of lighting, an update on joinery and a collection of inspiring houses. In Brisbane JRA continue their theme with a house that embraces the street, architect Ben Callery’s own home sits nest-like amongst the treetops and  a project on a small block in Paddington by Aileen Sage Architects includes a green roof and wraps itself around a courtyard. We look at the conversion of a toy factory into a hostel in Tokyo and a garden on the south coast of NSW that is abundant whilst being low maintenance.
