Homage
Via Porta, Eatery & Deli is more than a restaurant: it’s an homage to the Italian heritage of Studio Esteta co-Director, Sarah Cosentino and her siblings Simon, Jonathan and Ryan.
The latter three have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and sought to bring a unique venue to their childhood neighbourhood, Mont Albert.
Studio Esteta responded to their brief by introducing a rich yet refined palette complete with crazy paving flooring created from earthy-toned offcuts destined for landfill. Seeking to evoke the experience of traversing narrow alleyways in Italy, the layout showcases the venue’s lively personality and leads the eye to the scenestealing deli counter.
