Regenerate: 2024 Craft + Design Canberra Festival Workshops
Connect with Canberra’s creative community by engaging in a regenerative hands-on making experience, learning unique craft and design skills from our accomplished artists in the Craft + Design Canberra Festival Workshop Program for adults and children.
The tenth Craft + Design Canberra Festival runs from 1–10 November 2024. Presenting an exciting program of exhibitions and activations responding to the Festival theme of Regenerate, the Festival celebrates Canberra as a creative capital and a global city of design.
Connecting Canberra’s community with over 500 artists, craftspeople, designers and architects, the 2024 Festival advocates for design thinking, collaboration and making by hand to generate innovation and solve problems, providing hope for our future.
As we face the future, creativity must lead the way in addressing the climate crisis and nurturing stronger communities. By rethinking how we use resources and regenerating materials already around us, we can reshape our relationship with waste and discover new possibilities.
In response to the 2024 Craft + Design Canberra Festival theme of Regenerate, workshops focus on transforming discarded materials into something meaningful. At the heart of it all are people—connections that thrive when we come together and collaborate.
