Liminal at Melbourne Design Week 2019

Liminal

Inspired by Lake Tyrrell, this collaborative installation experiments with product design, visuals, soundscapes and materiality to explore and peep into a world where shifting moments reshape our design experiences.

Liminal is an installation of product design, visuals and soundscapes. It’s the intersection of these different perspectives of which Liminal seeks to explore the idea of how transient moments in the design process can reshape our future.

Lake Tyrrell impresses upon us the impermanence of form; our relationship with space and objects; and how fleeting moments redefine realities.

Liminal is a collaboration between product designer – Eugenie Kawabata, photographer/director Adrian Lander and sound designer/composer Duane Morrison. This union is seamlessly expressed through a design experience that gives us a peep into a world that reshapes our design experience.

This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2019 Supported by NGV and Creative Victoria Sponsored by Yabby Lake.
