DesignBUILD’s Sustainability Day

Industry Insights is a free to attend seminar at Australia’s largest design and building industry event, DesignBUILD. Featuring 16 sessions over 3 days, top experts and corporate heads of Australia’s leading design and building organisations will deliver real-world insight on a wide range of issues. Visitors must reserve a seat to ensure access to these sessions.

The program on days 1 and 3 has been curated by the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), and offers insight and expertise around product applications, specifying standards and compliance and innovative building solutions.

Day 2 celebrates Sustainability Day, and features 5 seminar sessions including a keynote from the Australian Building Codes Board, and an interactive Panel Discussion made up of Green Building Council of Australia, Good Environmental Choice Australia, Australian Forestry Standards and Global GreenTag.
Core themes discussed during the Sustainability Day program include how to achieve 10 star design for environmentally sustainable houses, the world of certification, the National Construction Code and the future of sustainability.
