Architecture, building and construction professionals can now register to attend DesignBUILD 2015, which will be held at The Dome in Sydney Olympic Park’s Sydney Showground from Tuesday April 28 to Thursday April 30.

DesignBUILD connects more than 6,000 building industry professionals working across residential and commercial sectors with 200 leading manufacturers, suppliers and service providers.

Exhibition Manager Ali Mead said DesignBUILD 2015 offered a unique platform for visitors to discover new and emerging products, and network with the best in the industry.

Ms Mead said that visitors can expect a host of new initiatives at DesignBUILD next year: “We’ve conducted extensive research and have been working in collaboration with leading industry experts to develop a range of features that will deliver unique and relevant industry content.”

“Visitors to DesignBUILD can expect unparalleled innovation, education and networking opportunities,” Ms Mead said.

Some of the new features include:

  • An area dedicated to landscape and streetscape design, which will be held in association with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects
  • A safety area and related educational sessions during the Industry Insights seminar program
  • A technology area held in partnership with cutting-edge 3D visualisation, rendering and modelling firm Luminova.

  • Australian Institute of Landscape Architects
  • Architects Without Frontiers Australia
  • Global GreenTag
  • Good Environmental Choice Australia
  • National Precast Concrete Association.

Ms Mead said the speakers for the annual Industry Insights seminar will be announced at a special invitation only event in Sydney in March.

“Each year Industry Insights features local and international experts speaking about emerging trends in sustainability, technology and innovation – we look forward to announcing our word-class line up in the New Year,” Ms Mead said.
