Sphera Elite b+ | Bio-based Homogeneous Vinyl

Sphera Elite b+ is Forbo’s first bio-based homogeneous vinyl. Its PVC is derived from certified bio-based and recycled sources, including used cooking oil, giving the collection a 43% bio-based and recycled content and a verified embodied carbon of just 2.94kg CO₂e/m² (cradle to gate) and manufactured using 100% renewable electricity in a zero-waste production process.

 The PVC itself is made from bio-based and recycled raw materials, including used cooking oil, replacing fossil-derived raw materials at the point of manufacture.
