Open House Hobart returns for 2021

Tasmania’s most popular architecture and design event, Open House, is coming back to Hobart in 2021 for its ninth event on the weekend of November 13 and 14 2021.

The program will went live on the Open House Hobart website at 6pm on 25 October. This year’s program consists of over 70 buildings, activities and walking tours across the city of Hobart and beyond.

Some buildings require registration to visit. In true Tassie style, it’s first in, best dressed! Bookings open at 12 noon, Tuesday 26 October, and can be made at openhousehobart.org/hobart/.

Organised and run by the Tasmanian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects, Open House Hobart is the local version of a global event first held in London in 1992 and now staged in more than 30 cities around the world. It gives visitors the chance to see how others live, work and play; look up, look inside, have a sticky-beak, and see the city from a different angle.

This event is produced by the Tasmanian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects and isn’t possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Design Partner, Futago; Major Partners, the City of Hobart and the Tasmanian Government; Partners, Access Solutions and Brickworks; Media Partner, ArchitectureAU and Supported by Events Tasmania and Discover Tasmania.
