Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert presents collaborative exhibition, Anthologia

Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert is excited to present the first collaborative exhibition Anthologia between Queensland ceramist Sarah Rayner and jeweller Sophie Carnell. Sophie Carnell is a jeweller/maker working out of Bruny Island, Tasmania. Both Carnell and Rayner explore relationships to landscape, place, and interconnections with the environment. Working separately and together to create considered works with a beautiful duality, fragility, and strength as they mimic the natural world. Highly detailed porcelain and fine sterling silver allow Carnell and Rayner to present their translations of the natural world meticulously, creating works that are both beautiful and alluring. The works will be presented in both wall-hung series and single/grouped tabletop pieces.

Please email the gallery ([email protected]) to receive a special preview of the exhibition catalogue in the coming months.
