Q CELLS launches Q.HOME solar energy solution

Q CELLS may not be well known to Australian residential home owners, yet the company has just celebrated its tenth year in Australia. Previously, the business has operated in a B2B environment. Now, with the launch of Q.HOME, the company is driving awareness of the first fully packaged solar energy solution to be available in Australia.

Q CELLS is part of the huge South Korean conglomerate Hanwha. The solar energy solution provides peace of mind to the home owner as the package of PV modules, inverter and battery storage is all provided from the one supplier. R&D headquarters are located in Germany with 250 engineers operating pilot testing operations before the roll out to four manufacturing sites in South Korea, China, Malaysia and the United States.

Marketing and Key Account Director Myung Shim points out that Q CELLS is “An Energy Solution provider – consumers are moving more towards value rather than price.” Myung highlights that “Q.HOME is Australia’s first fully wrapped solution with a single warranty from the one manufacturer of the PV module plus the Energy Storage System (ESS).”

In Australia, Q.HOME is supported by a team of engineers based in Sydney to assist installers and home owners.
