2026 Green Design Show

The 3rd edition of the 2026 Green Design Show, 15 – 17 July at Melbourne Exhibition Centre, will be a powerful movement showcasing the strength of collaboration and innovation in the Australian sustainable design community. Taking place alongside the 22nd edition of Decor + Design, the Green Design Show will benefit from 10,000+ design trade visitors over three days to Australia’s definitive destination for interior design.

Co-curated by Circular Design Thinking and supported by Green Building Council of Australia, Green Magazine and Material Matters, this is the first sustainable design exhibition that is truly “walking the talk” in circularity and adaptive reuse. Key features:

IMMERSIVE PAVILIONS BY MELBOURNE ARCHITECTS

Three immersive pavilions will form the centrepiece of the Green Design Show, designed by Topology Studio, Studio x Us, Up to Something and Green Sheep Collective.

Material suppliers for the structure of the pavilions include XFRAME, Hydrowood, Britton Timbers and House of Bamboo. Inside, visitors can take a journey through materials and furniture from Cultivated, Sustainable Living Fabrics, THIRTEEN Architectural Timber, Hauslights, Gibbon Group and many more.

CURATED VIGNETTES FEATURING FURNITURE, DESIGN & MATERIALS

Curated vignettes around the pavilions will showcase furniture, interior design, construction materials and textiles. Surrounding these architectural showcases, X-Frame will create beautiful vignettes displaying products from an impressive collection of sustainable brands and innovators.

Vignettes will showcase construction and materials from Claywise, Natural Bricks and Market Timbers.

Furniture, design products and textiles will be on display from Karv Studio, e9 Design, Mineral Fox, Circular Sourcing, Instyle, Sustainable Living Fabrics, Loomtex, Textile Recyclers Group, DEFY Design, Planet Protector, Interiaura, and Nustantara.

MATERIAL MATTERS TRAIL

The Material Matters Trail: This is the first exhibition collaboration for leading London-based platform Material Matters in Australia. The Material Matters Trail at Melbourne Green Design Show will connect designers, architects, brands and makers with future materials intelligence through a tactile journey.

THE GREEN DESIGN SEMINAR SERIES

The Green Design Seminar Series will take place in a stunning new Seminar Theatre designed by Studio Spillane and furnished by e9 Design, Cultivated and Circular Sourcing.

2026 speakers include Dr Elizabeth Farrelly, Dr Jefa Greenaway, Breathe Architecture, UN Global Compact Australia, Winya Indigenous Commercial Furniture, GBCA, Circular Design Thinking, Cultivated, ALD Group, Hammond Studio and many more.
