Issue 42 includes two cabins, one tucked into the coastal shrub on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, the other perched on a hill overlooking a bay on New Zealand’s north island. In Brisbane we look at the third incarnation of a colonial heritage building and in Melbourne the renovation of a middle terrace, whereby the introduction of an internal courtyard has introduced light and greenery. Meet Lester Meyers and his extraordinary cactus collection and marvel at the thriving, productive garden on New Zealand’s Bay of Islands.
