Exceptional Design Experience: limited tickets available now

DESIGN101: A series of six lectures about contemporary design and design history launches next week.

From Wednesday 21 April to 2 June, presented by Australian Design Centre and ArtsPeople, hosted by Kathryn Hunyor, take an entertaining and informative journey through contemporary design history.

Weekly  themes include: the Arts and Crafts Movement, Bauhaus, Scandinavian, Japanese and Australian Indigenous design. Leading the talks are design experts David Clark, Peter McNeil, Annalisa Capurro, Eloise Rapp, Mark Ian Jones and Alison Page.

In addition to our current speakers, each week a guest designer will join the conversation with a contemporary twist on the week’s theme. Kicking off with Australian industrial designer Adam Goodrum, other guests include Scandinavian-born interior designer Anna-Carin McNamara, Yukino Matsumoto the founder and CEO of Simply Native, and Rina Barnebei (one half of design duo BernabeiFreeman).
