Asia Pacific Architecture Forum highlights announced

Presented at venues across Queensland from 10 to 23 March, the 2018 Asia Pacific Architecture Forum explores the opportunities and challenges of the Asian century through a range of free and ticketed events. The exhibitions, symposia, lectures and workshops will engage anyone interested in architecture and design, including educators, professionals, children and young people. The forum is a collaboration between founding partners Architecture Media and the State Library of Queensland.

Little Designers
Do you have a budding little architect or designer in your life? The Asia Pacific Design Library’s Little Designers series is perfect for four- to eight-year-olds. Stimulate creative thinking and introduce young minds to design through play.

Our Houses

Gentle Northerly: The Reimagined Queenslander
This exhibition celebrates the way Brisbane architects are thoughtfully reimagining the city’s character homes. Four renovated Queenslander houses are captured in photos by Christopher Frederick Jones and hand-drawn plans by Laura Patterson.

Garden Variety
Garden Variety is a talk series that fosters a celebration of ideas and culture through the stories of inspired thinkers and makers. This talk features Melbourne studio Edition Office. The series is curated and hosted by architecture firm Vokes and Peters.
