Adventurous, Adaptable, All Electric – Sweetwater Creek House

A partnership between MINI and green magazine presents a video series on residential architecture that is at the cutting edge in terms of energy usage and adaptability.

Future-proofing and adaptability were key considerations when Chris Botterill of JCB Architects designed Sweetwater house. The home needed to accommodate transitions, not fight them. Mass timber panels were used for their honesty and robustness. The volume of timber used in the house can be regrown in three minutes and sequesters nearly 50 tonnes of carbon.
