Warmset FIR Gold Aluminium — heating for dry applications

Warmset Aluminium brings gentle, evenly distributed radiant warmth beneath floating floors and carpet. Its flat heating ribbon is only 3mm thick and is bonded to an aluminium foil backing, which helps distribute heat evenly across the floor.

Designed for dry installation, the system requires no screed, self-leveller or adhesive, making it particularly suited to renovations and projects where floor height is limited. The slim mats sit beneath engineered timber, laminate, hybrid flooring or carpet, with a 5mm IXPE underlay, making the total build-up of this application only 8mm.

The 17mm broad heating ribbon provides an active heating surface of approximately 20–34%, depending on the room’s design. Systems are tailored to each space, typically specified at 100 W/m² or less, with lower wattages possible where insulation and heating requirements allow.
