VR Skylight Experience Launches at VELUX’s New Showroom and Training Centre in Sydney
Global leader in skylights and roof windows, VELUX, has launched its first VR enabled showroom in Australia. The immersive experience blends the physical space, with virtual reality visuals that demonstrate the transformative beauty of natural light.
Situated at 78 Henderson Rd, Alexandria in Sydney’s inner-west, the showroom allows visitors to walk through the physical space while it is overlaid with one of four different virtual environments that demonstrates the power of skylights to reshape rooms through natural light and fresh air.
In addition to the immersive VR experience, Alexandria site also houses a dedicated training centre for industry professionals. Designed to support architects, builders, designers and installers, the space provides hands-on education, product training and technical guidance to help ensure skylights are specified and installed with confidence.
The four distinct home styles see furniture, fixtures and finishes shift around the user to reflect each interior style, including Modern Industrial, Coastal, Mediterranean and Farmhouse. As visitors move through these spaces, they can see how daylight alters form, colour and atmosphere, creating a clearer connection to the outdoors inside the home.
