2017 Premier’s Design Awards jury announced

The Jury for the 2017 Victorian Premier’s Design Awards has been announced with a stellar lineup of Australian and international judges participating in the program this year.

The Jury represents the diverse range of design disciplines showcased by the Premier’s Design Awards and spans eight categories: Architectural Design, Communication Design, Design Strategy, Digital Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Service Design, and Student Design.

A new judging process will be introduced in 2017. Entries will now be evaluated in two stages; the first stage will take place online where entries are shortlisted for further evaluation.

The second stage of the evaluation process involves a smaller selection of judges who meet face-to-face to evaluate shortlisted entries and determine which entries go on to receive the Victorian Premier’s Design Award Best in Category Award and the coveted Victorian Premier’s Design Award of the Year.

Entry to the Awards is free and open to Victorian designers and architects.
