Bruce Mackenzie Landscape Award

Since 2005 the Think Brick Awards have encouraged architects to rethink brick and deliver projects that recognise the contribution of architects, builders, bricklayers and manufacturers in this process.

In 2008 Think Brick included Urban Design in the Horbury Hunt category celebrating clay brick in landscape and urban design. In 2013 this expanded to include a separate category for clay and concrete masonry in urban design which saw an array of contemporary entries. In 2014 this award was renamed in honour of renowned landscape artist Bruce Mackenzie.

Entrants in the Bruce Mackenzie Landscape Award will compete for the $10,000 cash prize as well as the chance to win the Grand Prix Award. This prize will reward the overall winner across all six categories with two Business Class tickets to Venice Biennale 2018.

We look forward to seeing how your projects have transcended their paver beginnings to embody landscaping perfection.
