Urban Commons Foodscape competition extended

“The deadline for the Urban Commons “Win a Foodscape Competition” has been extended.

Urban Commons is inviting designers, architects, and landscape architects to submit their concept designs for a project that features the Urban Commons FoodscapeTM.

All entries will go into the running to win a complete FoodscapeTM for their project (valued at $4,950), consultation with a horticulturalist (Foodscaper), and an article published online or in Green Magazine about the finished project.

Two runners up will win a years subscription to Green Magazine (valued at $50 each).

To go in the competition to win, upload an image of your concept, enter your details and answer two questions. The concept must feature FoodscapeTM (min. 8 plots, 2 pots, 1 plank), be publicly accessible and/or allow different people to access the space, and be due to complete in 2014.

We also encourage organisations such as schools, hospitals, and councils to enter. Eligible submissions must be made by a designer or design firm.

Due to technical problems with the Urban Commons Competition web page, they are giving entrants another month to get their Foodscape inspired designs in.

Submission are now due 10am Thursday 22 May.

Don’t wait too long though, they have already received some fantastic submissions.
